As a guide, 25 sq ft holds 10 to 15 boxes, 75 sq ft suits a studio apartment, 100 sq ft a one-bedroom apartment, 150 sq ft a two-bedroom home, 200 sq ft a three-bedroom home and 300 sq ft a four-bedroom villa.
It gives a practical starting point, not an exact measurement. Item sizes are typical estimates, and real space depends on how well you stack and pack. Our team will confirm the best size with you before you book.
A 100 sq ft unit is the usual choice for the full furniture of a one-bedroom apartment, including bulky items. If you are storing only part of the home, a smaller unit may be enough.
A little extra space makes packing easier and leaves room to reach items at the back, which is why the item calculator adds a small walking-space allowance. If you expect to add more later, tell our team and they will suggest a size that fits.
